How to Get a Free Copy of MS Access 2003
Access is only available at Cuyamaca College from the CIS Department. See step 11 for details.
- Retrieve your MSDNAA userid and password from your college email account by click on the campus e-mail link
- Log into your college email account, click the Students link
- Enter your college userid (i.e. joestudent) in the Log On box, then click where it says "click here"
- Fill in the User name as follows gcccdedu\userid (i.e. gcccdedu\joestudent)
Enter your college password for the Password box (same as you use for the college/class web site)
Then click OK
- Your Inbox should be displayed
- Click on the User Import message to open it
- Print this message for future reference
- Go to the MSDNAA web site and click the Log In button
- Enter the MSDNAA Userid (your college email address ending in students.gcccd.net)
Enter the MSDNAA password emailed to your college email account
Click Log Me In!
- Select Access 2003 from the list of products
- Click Add To Cart

Note: We have changed the process this year so you do not have to burn the CD's for products which are listed as free downloads like Access. Instead will need to order the software come on campus and bring a blank CD-ROM to exchange for a CD which contains the Access program. If you are in an online section and unable to come to campus then contact your instructor for information on how to get the software sent to you. Completing the order will also give you a serial number needed to install the software.
- Click I Agree for the software agreement
- Click Check Out
- Click the software title link to view the order details
- Print software order with Serial Number. You will need this number to install the software.

- The software if fully functional and you may keep it on your system after the end of class.
